10 Tour Memories
I realized that this will be my 10th choir tour. I went on 3 as a high school student, 4 as a college student and this will be my 3rd as a director. As I have planned this tour for the RVA choir I have reminisced some, thinking about previous experiences. I had to make a list of 10 memories from the past.
10. Snoring girls, and sleeping on the floor
9. Always at least one burn on the back of my knees
8. Games on the bus, like cards or catch phrase
7. My fave tour job - Mail gal
6. The time our host wouldn't stop feeding us
5. The older gentleman who wouldn't let me carry my heavy suitcase - so humbling
4. The places I got to see - J.A.R.S (my first experience with missions), Hershey Factory, Disney, Edvard Grieg's Home, The Fjords, The Wycliff Headquarters in Florida.
3. Learning to sleep on a bus -
when you've logged as many hours as I have on a bus this comes in handy.
2. Sharing short testimonies during our concerts.
1. Connecting with my Christian family around the world.
I could go on as I recount many more host homes that stick out. My prayer is that this tour would bring many more memories for both me and the kids in choir.
Just has we closed our concerts in high school I close now with these words - The Lord Bless you and Keep you.
