Mada Prayers
I've been thankful to still have friends in Madagascar and therefore, still get updates. I would love for you to join me in praying for the following...
The pastor at my church (Antonny) in Toliara asked for prayer for his congregation to be united in evangelism. Each Saturday, he and his wife (Sandy) lead a group into the villages to sit down with people, share Bible lessons, and invite people to church. Pray that more of the congregation would value this practice and unify the church by joining in.
Pastor Jonoro and his wife also have a church in Toliar along with a church leadership training school on their compound. Pastor Jonoro has traveled all over Madagascar for years training church leaders. Recently, the Madagascar Baptist Church as a whole asked Pastor Jonoro to lead the Baptist Church Counsel from the office in North Madagascar. This means he moved from Toliara. With such a large compound in Toliara, he and his wife are having trouble selling the property or finding someone who is trustworthy to can take care of it. As a result, he and his wife are living apart until a solution can be found. Pray that God would raise up the right people to take over the church and the property in Toliara so that Junoro and his wife can be together to support each other.
