The Pyramid and God's Amazing Final Picture
The most I've been able to muster, when it comes to spending time with God this week, is to repeat the words of Ps. 16:5b "You maintain my Lot." Coming into the term I did not feel full, my tank is pretty depleted and so with all I have had to do to get things going this first week I have "kept my head down" and just "put one foot in front of the other.".
Thankfully, God doesn't leave us. When we can't come to Him, He comes to us. While scrolling through my Insta feed I came across a picture of a pyramid. I couldn't help but remember the Hebrew slaves that created them. The reality is, they had a huge part in these "wonders of the world." Although it wasn't their choice or even their idea, they "kept their heads down, put one foot in front of another" and created something amazing.
As I looked at the pyramid I hear God encouraging me. He sees the pyramid, the great wonder and I am His servant, His worker doing what He has for me. In the end, I get to say I was part of making something amazing. I am not one who is "running aimlessly, I press on toward the to win the prize for which God has called me, heavenward in Christ Jesus"(Phil. 3:14).
"For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we will see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known." - I Cor. 13:12
