Sing Glory - Preparing for Christmas - Choir Devo

Our Christmas concert is in two weeks and the theme we picked was "Remembering Christmas"  Below is my speech for part of the program...

As we continue with our theme of "Remembering Christmas" let's look back to Luke 2 and the story of the shepherds hanging out with their sheep.  How awesome to suddenly be joined by God's messengers - Angels who had come to glorify God and proclaim the arrival of Jesus, the peace for the world.  As you take in our next song, may you be transported to those fields with the shepherds and may you hear the words of the angels anew saying, "...Glory to God in the highest...born that man no more may die. Sing glory to God in the Highest, sing glory to God in the highest, sing glory to God."
