Kijabe Community:
We are blessed to work alongside the Kenyans of Kijabe every day. I love these wonderful people and am challenged by their love for God every day.
Being away from family can be hard for missionary kids. We work to create ongoing community in our homes throughout the year. Pray for the kids as they are away from family 9 months.
RVA HS CHOIR:
God used 42 students to share His story through music this year. We toured in Narobi encouraging believers and sharing the story of Jesus through music, and we were honored to be a part of our own community as we sang at the AIC church in Kijabi on several ocasions.
CHOIR TOUR:
God allowed us to visit a new school with the gospel, bring joy through music at a children’s hospital and fellowship with many in March.
CHOIR LEADERS:
God grew the students in choir as leaders, musicians and conductors. In fact 4 of the students took over conducting during the final term.
God used the RVA to bless the Kijabe community we are a part of by singing for the inauguration of the new Kijabi Bishop. Pray that God would use these friendships for His glory.
Kenyan Friends: I have two wonderful Kenyans that work for me around my house. I am so thankful for their help, how they point me to Christ and bless me with friendship. Pray for God’s blessings in their lives.
Once a month families plan activities for the kids. I love how God uses those nights for relationships. Pray for kids to feel loved and show love to those around them.
Prayers for the UNREACHED:
At RVA we prioritize prayer. Each class prays for a people group where God is at work. The staff prays each day and we pray as a community on Sundays. Can you join us in praying for the unreached?
NEW BELIEVERS:
This past year two students came to Christ at RVA. WOW! God is at work! Pray for every kid at RVA to know Christ’s forgiveness and grow in fellowship with God.
Baptism:
Twice a year students are baptized on campus. I love hearing how God has used RVA to grow their faith and knowledge of our great God.
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL:
We’re all in this together. It was wonderful to lead the students in growing their gifts for performance.
Titchie (Elementary) Musical:
At RVA God uses the 6th graders to lead others through the Titchie Musical. I love watching the kids present God’s story with confidence.
TITCHIE CHAPEL:
Every Wednesday the Titchies meet for Chapel to grow in faith and worship our God. I love helping the kids learn to lead in praising our God.
MORE FUN ON CAMPUS:
Skate Nights. Outreach Day. Senior Store. Hell’s Gate Field Trip. Talent Nights.
