...And you will succeed

As you may have read in "Commit Your Ways to the Lord" my hope was to play the song "Only King Forever" with the choir kids and enjoy just sing a song we are familiar with.  I have some pretty great students because although they didn't know the song after all, they sang some and still had good attitudes about it.

With a stroke of the Spirit I ask, "what's a song you all know?" Quickly, girls from both the soprano and the alto sections suggested, "Ever Be" and off we went.

What followed was real heart music.  As we sang together I couldn't help but be excited that they would know and love a song with such rich words.  When the last line of the first verse came I knew God was in the moment.

Together we sang....
"And it's why we sing, your praise will ever be on my lips."

God is at work in our choir.  He loves us and is taking great care of us.  I can't help but be excited when God uses the students to lead us to worship through music.  It's so special with it comes from them rather than me as their teacher.  Thank you Lord for how you lead and use these kids.
