Titchie Musical - The Good News Cruise
The fifth and sixth grade students have the opportunity to participate in the Titchie Musical each year. It's a great opportunity for the kids to learn God's truth in a fun way, use their gifts and present on Sunday morning for the whole school and community in church.
This year's musical was "The Good News Cruise" which tells the story of "Lostin" the activities coordinator on the S.S. Good News Cruise. Lostin watches the Christians on the cruise live out their faith in different circumstances allowing Lostin to learn about life with Christ. In the end, Lostin finds the truth and accepts the truth of Jesus as her Savior.
Although I picked the musical, I didn't direct this year. Instead, I worked behind the scenes with details while two other wonderful ladies lead the acting and choreography. It was quite different not to run the direction, but I was thankful it came together well.
On the day of the performance, it was so precious to hear the prayers of the students as they prepared to present. God has worked in the hearts of these students teaching them how to present His message in a fun way, but more importantly how to give Him back the glory from the talents He has given them.
One of the other directors capture our last view of words in one of the songs.
Back stage waiting for ques.
Great job!
