Choir Devo- Love You

Several months ago I put up the verse, "I have loved you with an everlasting love" in my room.  I love seeing the daily reminder that God loves me.  It was amazing when one day I read the words and realized that are my words to God as well.  I love my God with an everlasting love as much as is humanly possible.

The past two weeks in choir I have shared songs about God's love for us.  Similarly, this week's song talks about the love of God, the love that is beyond the superficial, but it also talks about how our response needs to go beyond the rehearsed. It shouts for a real love for God - the kind of love that He deserves from us.

Every time I listen to this song it makes me thing theologically.  Is it right, is what she saying good?  I can't help but hear the heart in the lyrics and know the truth that God's love if more than what can be put into a box.  But there is more to the song.  I love is that the worship found in the words.  When you realize that God's love is bigger we can't help but worship Him with a heart full of love back.

So, as I present this song to the kids my questions will be:

Do you agree with the message?

Do you feel that kinds of love God?

What do you do about it?
