Choir Devo - The Real Thing

This whole year I have shared my Monday choir devotional on songs that the students are singing in class.  It has been wonderful to look at the songs in a deeper way, but sometimes I miss sharing songs I am listening to and that have touched my life.  Songs, we won't perform, but that I love to listen to because they challenge and encourage me.

This term the students are picking group songs.  I hope to share a little about them, but the purpose of the students picking the songs if for them to see what it's like to choose a song and get it ready for performance, which includes looking at the deeper meaning of the song - on their own.

So, I have decided that I am going make looking into the meaning and assignment and use my Monday devotional slot to talk about songs that mean a lot to me right now.
