AIM International Prayer Day 3/29/18

Join us in prayer.  May we see God move all over Africa.  I've highlighted the ones that are in my immediate community.  Remember as you pray that Rift Valley Academy is the second home of Missionary Kids whose families serve all over Africa.


"Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people."         - Ephesians 6 8


THE INTERNATIONAL OFFICE

Dear Father, we in the IO want your kingdom to come among all African peoples, in AIM, and in the IO!  We humbly ask that we have the privilege of being used to see your kingdom come.  May we in the IO live lives of confession and repentance, and so be clean jars, useful to you our Master, for every honorable and good work!  Please make us men and women of Issachar, who understand the times and know what to do (1Chron 12:32)!  Give us the wisdom, discernment, and revelation that we need to lead AIM, and the courage to follow your direction!

Father, we know the fields are white for harvest...please use our mobilizing hub, and all of our members, to bless your church in Africa by helping to equip and send hundreds of African workers into these harvest fields!  Please lead our meeting of African Bishops and mission leaders, May 21-25, as we meet to consider how we can reach unreached peoples together.  Again, we ask for wisdom, discernment, and revelation, as well as unity and love between us!

We pray in the name of Jesus, and for the honor and glory of Jesus in Africa!  Amen!

Rift Valley Academy 

Heavenly Father, you know the difficulties we have been through over the past few months.  You know the stress that our staff and students have been under.   

Father, our hearts are aligned with yours; we desire to honor Jesus Christ as we educate our 500 students, reach out to the community around RVA, and seek to prepare the next generation of mission workers from among our staff and students.  

Father, in Jesus name, for all of us, admin, faculty, staff, students, all of us at RVA, make us clean jars!  Give us grace to live lives of confession and repentance, turning away from sin and walking in purity!  Let this extend to all of our students’ families, and to the whole community here in Kijabe!   

May your Spirit fall on us in a new and powerful way!  We pray for wisdom and discernment as we seek to protect our students.  Help us especially, as a community, to stand against bullying, cyber-bullying, pornography, and harassment of every kind. Give us all, staff and students, pure hearts and minds, transforming our interactions with each other so that Jesus Christ is honored and each student is lifted up and blessed!    

Help the RVA administration to deal quickly, effectively, and wisely with any accusation of inappropriate or sinful behavior!  Father, grant us unity in Jesus Christ!  Heal past hurts and divisions, and cause each of us to walk in a manner worthy of our Lord, pleasing Him in every aspect of our lives.  

Transform us, as individuals and a community, that we may reflect the glory of Jesus to the world. 

We ask in particular for Mark and Carolyn, that their lives would reflect that grace of our Lord Jesus, and that they would know His joy and peace. We ask that you would provide a full complement of staff for the next school year, including a full-time Child Safety Coordinator.   

Father, we need your grace.  Please bless and encourage us, your children at RVA. 

KIJABE HOSPITAL 

Matt 5:16; 1Peter 3:14-15 and Timothy 2:2. 
People do not light a lamp and put it under a basket.  Instead, they set it on a lampstand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, may the light of Kijabe Hospital shine before men, that those attending, including many Somalis, may see the good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven.  May all staff be prepared to give the reason for the hope they have and to share the gospel with boldness, gentleness and respect.  Father, as the hospital continues to run many training programmes may they disciple reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. 
Father we ask for clean jars ready to be filled with your spirit and ready to be poured out to those in need of your grace and mercy. 

MOFFAT BIBLE COLLEGE 
God, we thank you for the 89th Anniversary of Moffat Bible College in February. We thank you for the long history of leadership and sacrifice by both AIM missionaries and nationals. We thank you for your blessing in the accomplishment of many long-term projects: tax exemption, a Certificate program, which bridges to the Diploma program, and the expansion of our student recruitment. We give you praise for a good team of faculty and staff.  

We pray that you would continue to bless the student recruitment efforts so that Moffat has an intake of 40 students in August 2018. Father, would you help Moffat achieve the goal of 100 students enrolled by August 2021? 

We pray for Moffat students that you would provide for their fees and their larger needs. We pray that while they are at Moffat you would not only fill their minds, but also shape their characters.  We pray that the students would not only learn theology, but also learn servanthood. 

We ask that the faculty and staff would work continue to work together in humility and the power of your Spirit.  

Above all, we beseech you that you would be glorified in Moffat. We pray this all in the authority and for the sake of Jesus. Amen 


ASIA PACIFIC 

AUSTRALIA 

Jesus, wake us from our complacency.  Turn us into a nation where we use our material prosperity and other blessings to advance your Kingdom.  Grant that we might truly become ‘The Great South Land of the Holy Spirit’ where your gospel is openly proclaimed and from where many will feel compelled to serve beyond our borders. …‘Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.’  (Ephesians 5:14)

Bring forth a glorious new day, where Australia would reflect your radiance and truly be a blessing to all nations. Eliminate our attachment to everything that so easily distracts and misleads us from your truth.
Father we ask for clean jars, examine us Aussies, leading us to national and individual repentance so that nothing will hinder the advance of your Kingdom. May the Lord of the Harvest send many more workers from Australia into His harvest field.

HONG KONG  

Jesus, enlarge the vision of bringing the Gospel to Africans in the Continent and the Diaspora among the Christian churches in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Mainland China.

As our forerunner Peter Cameron Scott said, “Making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:16), we pray God that the Chinese Christians will not be masked by prosperity but will respond to the call of Harvest.

Father we praise you that we have now sent out 10 workers from Hong Kong and we pray for hundred workers. We pray for a new Director to increase our mobilization effort to call forth more workers.

KOREA

Heavenly Father, we are so thankful for how you have blessed South Korea.  You have preserved us through wars and occupations, and you continue to preserve us and protect us from the threat of the North Korean government and military.  Please continue to bless and protect us!  Please help all South Koreans to bow their knees before you and submit to the Lordship of Jesus!  May your people here, especially all church and mission leaders, live lives worthy of the gospel!  For all AIM Korea missionaries, make us clean jars, as we live lives of confession and repentance and purity!

Father, we pray for our brothers and sisters in the north, suffering so terribly for so many years.  Please provide for them, protect them, and free them from tyranny!  May our nation be united, and may Jesus be honored in north and south!  May Pyongyang again be called “The Jerusalem of the east!”

Father, thank you for John and Heyran Kang, and for their leadership of AIM.  Bless and lead than as they move back to Africa.  Thank you for Joseph and Mary

Cho, our new leaders!  Help them to quickly learn about AIM, and lead AIM Korea into the future!  Help them and their children to walk close to you, and please provide godly spouses for their son and daughter! 

We pray for a season of growth, in missionaries, in prayer, in grace, and in finances!  Father, send us dozens of new Korean missionaries over the next few years.  Please help Korean and western missionaries to love, to understand and to serve each other.  Help us to work together in a way that honors Jesus Christ!  Please help our missionaries who are struggling with English. Encourage them and teach them. 

Father, please send many more Koreans into your harvest fields among the UPGs of Africa.

NEW ZEALAND   
                                                               
Jesus please ignite the passion of mission in New Zealand.  Please grant us the courage and supply our needs to go forth.

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’  (Isaiah 52:7)

Our fear sometimes stops us and sometimes our hearts grow cold in life circumstances.  We pray that we always remember to help those who are less privileged than we are.  Father we ask for open doors and open hearts in New Zealand, in Jesus name.                                                                                   

CANADA 

Lord we thank you for our great country and the many kindnesses you have graciously given us.  We pray that the theme verse taken from the Psalms at our country's official beginning would be true today: "that you would have Dominion from 'Sea to Sea'" May that extend to Africa and the Diaspora - and thank you for providing many applicants for service to AIM! We pray for the Lord of the Harvest to continue to send workers and provide financially in 2018 for our General Fund. May the Christ centered Canadian Churches be "clean jars” and not lose our 'first love ' with the increasing secularism.  For your name's sake.  Amen.


EUROPE 

Please Pray Phil 1:4-6 for the EMR

“In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Dear Lord you delight in gospel partnerships which is seen so clearly in and through the Trinity. Through the power of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit may we in the European Mobilising Region, pray with Joy for the partnership in the Gospel that we have with our Mission Partners and their churches. May we see your hand on their ministries and claim the promise that you, who have begun a good work in them, will bring it to completion.

We pray for breakthroughs in areas where this partnership is weakened by sin or ignorance or misunderstanding and we pray for increased partnerships with the whole of AIM as well as other Kingdom focused organisations we are yet to partner with.

We praise you for recent new beginnings of partnerships in Bulgaria, Portugal and Finland.

SOUTH AFRICA 

Engage: Pray for our region: We pray for our land. We pray for rain in the drought disaster areas. We also pray for ongoing land reform issues, stirring up and threaten to divide our country. We praise the Lord for new presidential leadership. We pray for our new leader to lead in a humble, Godly way.

We pray for the Body of Christ, to become one in prayer, one in its mission to disciple the nations and one in the desire to send missionaries. We pray that churches in our land will take hands and cross cultures, practicing ministry of reconciliation.

Verse Isaiah 54:1-5 Sing, barren woman, you who never bore a child,  burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband,” says the LORD. 2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. 3 For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities. 4 “Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood. 5 For your Maker is your husband— the LORD Almighty is his name—the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.

Lord, we ask for a fresh perspective and zeal among churches from previously disadvantaged communities to take the whole Gospel to the unreached African peoples across the world. Enlarge our territory Lord.   Pour out your Spirit on the South African church and unite them. Enlarge our tents Lord. Call and send the people of your choosing to the un-reached of Madagascar and Mozambique. Enlarge their territory.  Ignite the hearts of church leaders to teach, challenge and send their people to impact the un-reached African diaspora communities that are often on their doorstep. Strengthen & lengthen our cords Lord. 

Father we ask for clean jars …a shift in mind-set that the African church does not have the needed resources. Father re-awaken and release the spiritual, financial, human, pastoral and intellectual resources in the African Church in Jesus Name.

SOUTH AMERICA 

BIBLE VERSE: Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.   Father, as a MR we want to see more people deciding to GO preach Your Word in Africa, and see lives transformed by the Holly Spirit. We ask for Your Grace over us, as we mobilize all over South America and help these candidates to fulfill your calling.

We want to see a generation spreading the Gospel and living their lives all for you. We know financial support is hard, but we believe it is the Lord who supplies all needs.

We pray for South American church, as they understand their role in this process and gather with us in prayer and sending new missionaries. Father, we ask you to come over Brazil and so many other countries that faces a very difficult time, voting for new presidents this year. We trust that the Lord is ahead of all decisions and we want to live your purpose.

Father, we ask for clean jars of humility and unity in us so that we can work with different cultures and understand their plans for us. 

USA 

1 Thess 3:1-2 Lord of all nations, use the US office to mobilize workers who will fill in the gaps where needed. We pray that you will lead us to identify and mobilize members who are effective in spreading the gospel of Christ. Use those who are sent from the US office to strengthen and encourage others in their faith.

Father, we ask for clean jars…..that the hearts of those you are calling would be obedient to follow you and that Mobilizing regions and Receiving regions will communicate well and be united in purpose.


AFRICA BASED SUPPORT
Father, use ABS personnel and services to see the Name of Jesus proclaimed throughout Africa.  As we live in Nairobi, Lokichoggio, Kampala and Arua may we be salt and light in these communities.  May our lives lift high the Name of Jesus.

Father, you promise to meet all our needs according to the riches of His Glory in Christ Jesus.  Please provide for all the needs (people, finances, strength, safety, wisdom) within the ministries of ABS.

There are new ministries that we are hoping to start in the future, services that we would like to see grow and expand, situations that need your intervention, certifications that need to be granted, projects that need to be completed, reports that need to be written, training that needs to take place - please do exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ask or think for your Glory.

TIMO                                                     
Lord, please fill REOs, RTOs and ULs with an understanding of where you are at work as they identify 1 Track 2 TIMO Team location, along with a Team Leader, for each Receiving Region by May of this year. 

Would you please give spiritual discernment as they look for places to train new workers to mobilize Africans, to be involved in direct disciplemaking among UPGs, and be equipped with a foundation for a lifetime of ministry. 

May these cities be places where many new workers can be on-boarded effectively and released to UPG ministry among many of our priority UPGs.


LEADING FROM THE INSIDE OUT – TL Training Lord, please show us how we can equip 50 Team leaders by 2020.  Bring these 50 people to us- help REOs and RTOs and ULs identify them… and give these future TLs willing hearts to lead. 

Help us as leaders to be willing to lead from a place of brokenness and humility so that everyone knows that our message is filled with power from God, not from our selves. 

Help us to equip leaders who are transformed from the inside out so that they can lead teams and see disciples made who are also transformed from the inside out. 

DIASPORA REGION 

U.S. UNIT                                                                     
Engage: In 2016, 37% of refugee arrivals to the U.S. were from Africa. These African refugees came primarily from Somalia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan and Eritrea.  Diaspora’s U.S. members (21 members and 4 teams) have the opportunity to be catalytic agents spurring U.S. local churches to go out intentionally seeking, welcoming, and proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom among African Diaspora people living in U.S. cities and communities. Pray for the DR Unit Leaders as they nurture the vision in helping the African Diaspora meet, know and follow Jesus in each country.  Pray for partner organizations and local churches to build a strong foundation for growing powerful relationships that will reach deeply into each community.
Praise God from our team in team in Oregon for a delightful field trip last week to a farm with approx. 40 friends from Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Libya! It was a joy to give joy—they loved the countryside, beautiful Mt. Adams, and huckleberry picking! In addition, it was a joy to see God give opportunities to talk more deeply about eternal matters. One friend wants to get together to ask some “serious questions” regarding theology, ASAP. Please pray for wisdom—time is short before he returns to his home country.
Scripture: Matthew 25: 31-40 “He (the Son of Man) will sit on His glorious throne. Before Him will be gathered all the nations…The King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me I was in prison and you came to me.’…  Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”
Prayer: “O LORD, people from Africa are arriving in America in greater numbers.  Open the eyes of American churches to see their need for Christ. Stimulate the church to become a source of love and life to Africans living in their communities.  For the unreached Africans, we pray they will hear the Gospel and trust in Jesus. For Christian Africans, we pray the U.S. church will welcome and extend fellowship to them.  May we be joined together with our African Brothers to make disciples.”


DR CANADA
Father, you have said in Psalm 22, “From the four corners of the earth people are coming to their senses, they are running back to God. Long-lost families are falling on their faces before him. God has taken charge; from now on he has the last word” (vs. 27-28, MSG).

Lord, in the next 4 months as we launch a new partnership with local French churches in Montreal to evangelize the 200,000 immigrants from the Maghreb, give us flexibility, creativity, unquestioned love, and James-one-five wisdom.  Uniting in outreach with fellow believers from Quebec, may Your Spirit bring new arrivals from Mediterranean Africa “to their senses”. Save them for eternity, and “take charge” of their lives. As you do that, Father, we ask you to “take charge” of OUR own lives and have “the last word” in our attitudes, our motivations, and our methods. In the Saviour’s Name, Amen.

DR EUROPE                                                                             
Father, we want to have a viable gospel witness among every African Unreached People Group among the diaspora in Southern Europe. Keep us in prayer; accept our sacrifices, that they would be holy and pleasing in your sight. Renew our minds so that we can test and approve what your good, pleasing and perfect will is. We pray this especially as we look to placing personnel in Europe so that we will find the right partners and have wisdom to know what locations to focus on as well how to obtain the proper visas and work permits.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Rom. Each day African migrants and refugees are landing on the shores of Europe with hopes of finding a better life. The numbers are in the thousands per month and these dear souls arrive with only what they are able to carry from their homeland. There is huge opportunity for the gospel as many are from unreached people groups. Pray that the hearts of Believers will be compelled to share the Redeemer with the thousands of refugees who flee from their home countries.
Praise for the summer teams returning from Spain and the lives the Lord has touched in Jerez, Barcelona, Ceuta, and Malta. Pray that the good work the Lord has begun in them will continue to grow, both in the lives they touched in Spain and in their personal walk with Him.
 Pray for the new Isa followers, that their lives will be rooted in Him in strength and power calling them to share that same Good News with others.
 Praise for the strong church leaders who partnered with each team.  Pray that their churches will share their burden with courage and gentle boldness to light a fire in their cities that proclaims the Lord. Pray for new teams as members relocate, find a home, church,  and work in specific areas then begin to build life changing relationships in their communities.
Pray for preparation for DREAM teams this summer in Spain and Malta. Pray for the right mix of members for each of the five teams. Pray for Mary Elmore’s visa for ministry in France. Interview is the end of March Please pray for the St Claires who are preparing to transition to ministry in Spain Please pray for the Buchs who will be transitioning from Ethiopia to ministry in Belgium in June. Pray for good partnership plans to develop with the local church. Pray for a vision trip to Southern NA1 with our ministry partner in Spain to see about expanding the engagement of a MUPG indigenous to the area.

DIASPORA SOUTH AMERICA                         
Please ask God to open the eyes of the Church in South American for them to see the great opportunity they have to reach the refuges and migrants from Africa-UPGs.
We want to see the Lord of the grain-fields sending workers to joy our Diaspora Ministry in S.A.
Pray for the refugees that have resettled in São Paulo. We want to see God will touch them as they seek to learn the language, get jobs, and adjust to a new culture. We pray that they will come to know Jesus.
We want to see God opening more doors for our Unit to minister to refugee groups around the South America.

EASTERN REGION 

ER OFFICE
Father, as our members abide in Christ Jesus, please let our lives be an ornament to His gospel.  Give us oneness of heart and mind in each team and unit, so that we are pulling together for the faith of the gospel.  (Phil 1:27-29)

We know that it is not with clever arguments that the nations will be convinced.  Cause us to be unified and loving members in one body, so that they may know that you sent your Son Jesus and that you love us just as you love Him. (John 17:21-23)

Give us boldness and confidence, so that none of our members will be intimidated from sharing this gospel.  Give us open doors for the Word and boldness to make the most of every opportunity, so that Jesus will be glorified among us in His Church.  Amen.

BISHOPS CONFERENCE
to be held in Mombasa, Kenya this May. The Scripture is from Acts 13:1-3. Father, as you bring together our church and mission leaders for a prayer summit in May, we ask that the Holy Spirit will speak and that we will hear your voice.  Just as you did at the Antioch Prayer Summit in Acts, please show us who are the ministers you are setting apart and what first steps we should take to launch them into cross-cultural outreach.  We pray that our partner churches will hear your voice about how to send their members into UPG areas, and we pray that our mission leaders will hear your voice about how to participate in that great sending.    Father, make us clean jars who are able to truly listen to one another and to You, clean jars that You can set apart to foster reproducing churches among all the peoples of Africa. Amen.

TANZANIA WEST
Scripture:  2Tim. 2:2  topic: Leadership

Lord, we ask that you would please send reliable men and women to be leaders for our Bible schools, orphan care, community care, and church planting. Help us be proactive: coming alongside and growing these men and women to be leaders of tomorrow. Father we ask for clean jars: for the spiritual discipline of clean hearts primed to hear your voice and commune with Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.  Let it be so.

TANZANIA SOUTH COAST
Precious Lord Jesus, we know that you love the Swahili people and that your blood was shed for them. Please open the Heavens and send your Holy Spirit to blow a new wind in their hearts that will draw them to you. Your word tells us in Psalms 86,  8 Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours. 9 All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name. 10 For you are great and do marvellous deeds; you alone are God.

You are a great God and you love the Swahili coastal peoples. We ask that you free them from the fear and bondage of other religions, and traditions. Draw them to yourself.   Give us the grace, strength and wisdom to endure the hardships that might come our way as we ask to be used to expand your Kingdom here in the South Coast of Tanzania. Give us boldness to proclaim your precious Gospel fearlessly everywhere. We claim this place for your Name’s sake, and for your Glory and Honor.   Amen! 

TANZANIA EAST
1 Peter 4:10: “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms”.   Father God – we thank you for the folks who work in Tanzania East. We thank you that you choose to use us for your purposes. We praise you for the cross and for the forgiveness we have in Christ. Thank you too for the gift of your Holy Spirit who resides in the lives of your children, and who ‘blesses us with spiritual gifts.' We pray that for each of our people in Tanzania East, that you would enable them to use their gifts to the full in their various roles. We pray that they may be conduits of your grace as they seek to live out the calling you have placed on their lives. May they be a people who are willing to serve – and that because of that, others will see and be attracted to you.    Father God we ask for clean jars…amongst our AIM community in Tanzania East, but also amongst our partner church AICT. Holy Spirit, would you revive your church and enthuse this church towards mission and holy living, so that the unreached and unsaved are drawn to Christ through their witness. In His name – Amen. 

TANZANIA CENTRAL
Isaiah 64 and Romans 8:15    "Oh Lord, that you would rend the heavens and come down upon the peoples of central Tanzania.  Oh that you would shake the mountains of the Alagwa and Sandawe with your presence.  Oh that you would do awesome things that we didn't expect, that the Alagwa, Datooga, Sandawe, Rangi, and Safina children would know your Name and tremble at your presence.   Open their eyes and ears that they may perceive you and wait upon you. Oh that these peoples would call on your Name and be saved, and rejoice in your righteousness.     Oh Lord, set these adults, youth, and children free from a spirit of slavery and fear, that they might receive a spirit of adoption and cry out to you "Abba! Father!"

Lord, give us humility to work together, give us grace with stamina, give us an overflowing measure of your Spirit.

Father we ask for clean jars:  so that we might be unified in love, and that our actions mirror our words, that we might be bold proclaimers of the gospel truth.  "

KENYA CENTRAL 
Dear Lord, We pray that our Dorobo brothers and sisters in Christ would consider it pure joy, when they face the many challenges of their changing life and culture. We pray that this testing of their faith would produce perseverance so they may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. Lord, we pray that you would break the power of traditions and heavy drinking among the older generation, so they, too, can experience new life in Christ. 
We pray for the white settlers, South Asians and Somalis in Kenya that they would have the wisdom of knowing God and that they might choose to humble themselves and follow you so they can receive the crown of life that you have promised to those who love you.  (James 1) 

KENYA EAST CX TEAM 
Verse Psalm 24:7 "Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors that the King of glory may come in."   Father would you throw open the ancient doors of Wonderland, that the King of Glory would be welcomed in. We know Jesus that you are knocking at the door of people's hearts and we pray that by the power of Your Spirit they would hear your voice and lift their heads to you. We long for people to respond to you with readiness and reverence and that they would seek out Your Word to find the Truth. Lord may the ancient doors be lifted up as your mercy is poured out on the ones you love in Wonderland.   Father we ask for clean jars, for freedom from the lies that have held our people in bondage for so long and for humility in us. 

DIGO 
Oh powerful Lord, we pray for the Digo—though now they are a hardened people yoked down by fear and death—that You may draw them out from the domain of darkness and sin and into the kingdom of your Son and His marvellous light. May you set the Digo free from slavery to sin and extend to them the freedom that comes only through your Son, who offers redemption and forgiveness of all of their sins. As they face the uncertainties of sickness and daily provision, Jesus, we want to see the Digo become a people group among all Kenyan people groups known for their fearless trust in you.  

Almighty Father, give us clean jars for boldness in proclaiming to our Digo friends the freedom of Christ and for cleansing from their slavery to fear. 

KENYA NORTH 
Lord, we are grateful for your answer to prayer for the Northern Bible Training Center (NBTC). You have provided a principal and a capable lecturer and their families so that the plans can go ahead. May NBTC be a blessing to the Church of Northern Kenya as it trains up a new generation of leaders! 

We lift up Simon and Chantal Martin and their kids, as they will be staying in Nairobi on an extended medical leave. 

We pray for the AIC church, as an election will be held soon for a new area Bishop for Marsabit. We ask that you will appoint the right man who will serve the Church as Christ has modelled for us.  

We ask Lord that you will be with the Andersen’s as Rachel heads home for more training in her midwifery course leaving Eddie the kids and lots of responsibilities. Please help them and encourage them. Be with Eddie as he travels to join Rachel later with the kids. 

CENTRAL REGION 

CENTRAL REGION OFFICE
We praise You God for wonderful leadership meetings in Nairobi as all unit leaders and CRO staff were together for two days talking through vision and strategy. Grant us clear guidance for future ministry and teams in difficult places like South Sudan, Chad, and northern Uganda.

We ask you for wisdom in how to fill the gaps as people come and go on Home Assignments in the office.
“Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.” (Colossians 3:14-15)

RWANDA
Father God ~ May the hills of Rwanda be alive with the sound of the music of your gospel. Send your Spirit to renew the many congregations that meet in the name of Jesus.

As leaders are raised up and trained, may they be trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, fulfilling the ongoing ministry of Jesus. May the leaders be meek and preach good tidings. May they bind up broken hearts; proclaim liberty to the captives, open prison doors to the many who are bound in sin, sorrow and fear. May they comfort those who still mourn, giving them beauty for their ashes, the oil of joy for their mourning, the garment of praise for their spirit of heaviness.

May all of this be so that you may be glorified.

UGANDA
Father in Heaven, May your kingdom come in Uganda, may your will be done there as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10)

We pray that your spirit would move among the churches in the south of the country and inspire them to reach further in your name. May they go north to your harvest fields. Enable church leaders to hear your call and to mobilize their churches to get behind the people who go

We ask that among the Ik and the Karimojong you would soften hearts so that when they hear your good news they will respond fully to you. We ask that
families and manyatta-groups would turn to you in great numbers and that your spirit would flow down from the top of the mountain ridges and throughout this land.

Father we ask for clean jars...that we would not look to our own interests, but to your Kingdom. We ask that churches in Uganda would not protect the blessing you have given...but share them with the unreached.

CHAD
Father we praise you for the wide door for effective work that has been opened to us in Chad.  Send us more workers and raise up the Church of Chad that we might walk through that wide open door!  As we walk through these open doors, may you open the hearts of the people and open the heavens that the freedom that comes from the Spirit might remove the veil of Islam.
Lord may you become the guide of the peoples of Chad.  May they learn to turn to you to satisfy their needs in a sun-scorched land.
May you so transform the peoples of Chad that they might be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail – that their lives would radiate a joy and peace that defies the harsh and barren land in which they live.
Father, grant a spirit of forgiveness amongst the Chadian Church – that the Church might forgive their enemies who have persecuted them, that they might love their enemies in carrying to them the message of the Gospel. 
Father, may the peoples of Chad know that you are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob – that you are the God of all who call on Him from a pure heart – regardless of tribe or ethnicity. 

SOUTH SUDAN
Father, we thank you and praise you for how you continue to act according to your good purpose for your children in South Sudan. 

We praise you for continuing to keep doors open for ministry and for allowing us to keep working in the country despite many challenges.  We praise you for good number of youth who are taking your Word seriously and being baptized in obedience. 

We pray for more workers from Kenya, Uganda and other countries to come to shine like stars in a crooked and depraved situation. 

We pray that the church will continue to hold out the word of life so that those who are suffering may receive salvation through Jesus Christ.

Lord, your word says that the righteous will have no fear of bad news; that their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord (Ps 112:7).  As our members, brothers, and sisters in Christ live in an uncertain, at times dangerous place like South Sudan, we pray that “the righteous will never be shaken” (vs. 6) and their hearts will remain secure because of their trust in your sovereignty, power, love and goodness.

Father we ask for clean jars . . . for the Prince of Peace to cleanse South Sudan of its violence, alcoholism and revenge so that the Gospel may be free to move amongst the many unreached communities still remaining. 

DEMOCRATIC REP OF CONGO (NORTHWEST)
 Father, we pray for your peace to cover the country and ask you to cleanse the land of its instability. Lead and sustain President Kokole of CECA 20 church as he leads the church in new directions. Encourage and direct our members (Annemarie Boks and Stephanie Sudman) while the rest of their unit are on Home Assignment. We ask that you grant them continued protection and wisdom in new areas of ministry.
“’For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.’” (Jeremiah 29:11)

CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC (NORTHWEST)
We praise you, Father, for partnerships that are allowing us to continue making trips into CAR with relief supplies for our brothers and sisters in Obo, Zemio and Rafai.

We ask you for wisdom for those who are involved in knowing where and how to help those affected by the turmoil. May the strong men and women of the CEEC church know your presence daily.

“I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber.” (Psalm 121:1-3)


SOUTHERN REGION 

SOUTHERN REGION OFFICE
Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and all who live in them. 11 Let the wilderness and its towns in Namibia raise their voices; let the settlements in Mozambique rejoice. Let the people of Lesotho sing for joy; let them shout from the mountaintops. 12 Let them give glory to the LORD and proclaim his praise in the islands. 13 The LORD will march out like a champion, like a warrior he will stir up his zeal; with a shout he will raise the battle cry and will triumph over his enemies. (Prayer from Isa. 42:10-13)

Lord, the cry of our hearts is to see those who have never heard your name throughout southern Africa sing a NEW SONG. We pray that they will give glory to you and proclaim your praise boldly. Lord we ask you to raise the battle cry and triumph over your great enemy from old in all these tribes where he still holds power. May the evil one be defeated and your Kingdom come in southern Africa so that many will be sent from this land to ALL NATIONS!

Father we ask for clean jars… for humility in us as we work together to see Your Kingdom come. Our hearts desire to walk with your Spirit and hear your voice in every step we take and every decision that is considered. May we keep our eyes on you alone.

LESOTHO
“Jesus, we want to see an army of ordinary Basotho people following your calling on their lives, going forth, crossing international borders & proclaiming your name to those who have not yet heard it.  We want to see them making disciples of all nations across Africa, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything that you have commanded. 

Father we want to see a new generation of strong Christian leaders in Lesotho whose focus is on you, who abide in your word and who will build up your church to be pure & holy.  We want to see Lesotho return to being a country that looks out & sends people to reach out beyond its borders as it has in the past. 

Father we ask for clean jars, for humility in us and for cleansing from ancestor worship within the church & in everyday life in Lesotho, in Jesus name.”

MAYOTTE
But this is a people plundered and looted; they are all of them trapped in holes and hidden in prisons;  they have become plunder with none to rescue, spoil with none to say, “Restore!” Isaiah 42:22

Heavenly Father, we lift up your island of Mayotte. Lord in this place where darkness and apathy reign we trust YOU as the Giver of Life and Light and Hope. Lord we cry out for these people who are trapped and enslaved both to Islam and traditions and to material gain, only you can set them free.

Only you can free their minds to question their customs and traditions. Only you can free their hearts to search for your truths. Only you can free their souls to put their trust in Your Life-giving death.

Jesus we ask that you crack open the darkness that envelopes this island and reveal yourself to these people. Father we ask for clean jars...for patience, perseverance and humility in communicating Gospel truths with those around us, even in the face of apathy and indifference.

In Jesus name, Amen.

C. MOZAMBIQUE
Heavenly Father, we long to see your children in central Mozambique following the authority of Jesus alone, turning their backs once and for all on old beliefs and practices that do not honour you.  We want to see people truly knowing you, the only God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent and trusting him alone for their salvation.

Father, fill them with your Spirit so that they may glorify you in all they think, say and do and find new unity in you and together step forth to do the work you have laid before them, spreading the gospel into the farthest corners of the country and beyond.

Father, we ask for clean jars … for humility, love and sensitivity to your guidance and purification of your church from all syncretism and false teachings.

N. MOZAMBIQUE
Praying Isaiah 55: 6-13 for Northern Mozambique:   Perfect Lord Jesus, you are our purpose, our goal, our life.  May your workers, your body in Mozambique Seek you while you may be found, call on you while you are near.

Purify your church, cleanse us, Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts.  Let him turn to the Lord and he will have mercy on him and to our God for he will freely pardon. 

Make us your children more and more like you our Holy Father.  Expose the roots of sin in us Jesus, purify us and make us worthy vessels.  Let us be faithful brothers and sisters to press one another deeper into your vision for us your Children. 

We know and believe what you have declared our Lord, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.”   We desperately desire your ways and your thoughts, toward this vast land. As the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.  May we be leaning into your life-giving vine to hear your desires above our own. Without you, we can do nothing. 

Oh Jesus, let AIM North Mozambique boldly and joyfully proclaim your life-giving truth.   Raise up for yourself workers in this field, your people from distant lands and godly Mozambican men and women who desire to proclaim your word to this thirsty land. 

As the rain and snow come down from heaven and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. 

Oh God fulfil your purposes for Mozambique!

You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song before you and all the tress of the fields will clap their hands.  We trust you for each path we must take!

Oh Jesus, these many unreached people groups are your creation, you love them, and you long for them to know you.

Please Father, do your life changing work,  instead of the thorn bush will grow the pine tree, and instead of briers the myrtles will grow amongst the Mwani, Makwe,  Wadonde,  Wamatambwe, Ngoni, Nyahara, Shirimwa, Sakaji, Yao, Moniga and all those who have yet to hear your truth.   

May it be for the LORD’S renown, for an everlasting sign, which will not be destroyed! AMEN

NAMIBIA
Gracious Father, We pray for Namibia, with its beautiful people and landscapes.

We pray for you to heal its wounds of war and tribalism. We pray for you to heal its wounds of oppression and division,

Reconcile its peoples dear Lord, break down the walls of suspicion and long-held hate.

God may your people receive your wisdom,  “The wisdom that comes from heaven is first pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers, who sow in peace, reap a harvest of righteousness.”

May your people reach beyond their borders, beyond language, culture and country to those who have yet to know you. May your name mean more than their denomination. We ask you to break the spirit of division that rests here.

Holy Spirit, come and heal and empower your church to be the reflection of your love and grace.

We praise you for those who do preach your word and share your gospel, please Lord, empower them, provide for them and increase their numbers.

Father we ask for clean jars purged of discord and emptied of vain conceit.  Pour out your Spirit on us as we wait on you and repent of our blindness and selfcenteredness.  Show us your paths and raise up a generation intent on knowing you and leading others toward you. Amen

NORTHERN REGION 

"Father, we are asking you to build your church in North Africa and we know that if you build it, the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

We are asking you to give each of us unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart and a humble mind.

We know that you are love, and we are asking that your love will abide in us.

1 Chronicles 410 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.

Finally, we are asking that you bless Northern Region and that you would enlarge our border, that your hand will guide each of us, and that you will keep us from harm so that it might not bring us pain.

Father we are asking for clean jars...  We are asking that we do not interfere with the work of your Spirit and that you will sweep across our dry and thirsty land for your honor and your glory.  Amen."
