It got real

I had written a different update to send out, but God laid it on my heart to share something new. 
Overall, many of our students are doing well, however the reality is, living on a boarding campus away from family is hard for all of them at some point.  But, there is more to it than that.  The majority of our students are MKs; their parents are working with unreached people groups and Satan doesn't like that.  I can't help feeling that Satan wants to attack this place because of our purpose as an MK school.  As staff we have gotten many emails about discipline issues this year.  I don't remember quite as many of my choir students being suspended last year for different reasons.  It makes my heart sad.  I am glad that our Administration are working to give consequences and encourage us to accept students back with love, but discipline is hard all around.  Please pray for our campus - pray for our Administration as they wisely show love to the kids here, for the dorm parents who step in as parents to 12-22 students every day, and for the us as teachers who desire to remind kids they are important in every class.
