Traveling for Christmas - Christmas Eve Market

With a map in hand and the Christmas market on our minds we stopped for our first Italian coffee. It was great to rest in the afternoon as we reminisced and posted a few pictures.  I loved the jolt of caffeine and the chance to sit and reflect for a bit. 

Finally at the Christmas market we wondered through the booths looking for ornaments.  Although we didn't find any it was fun to enjoy the atmosphere and culture including the roasted chestnuts I saw for the first time in person. 

As the sun set we looked for a cute restaurant with a good menu and atmosphere and enjoyed appetizers as we finished out our evening.  I loved eating my first artichoke flower and I loved their facacia bread.
