What gives you joy?

I've been reading a lot in the evenings.  I like the books between 100 and 300 pages that I can finish in a day.  Tonight one of the characters asked the other one what makes them happy.  It reminded me that happiness is moments throughout the day, like little gifts from God.  After the character's list I was inspired to write my own.  So, here it goes...


Watching a great sunset
A country song that makes you want to dance or surprises you at how good it sounds
Getting dressed up and going to dinner with friends
A hug from one of my elementary students
Watching the Amazing Race
A cold coke on a warm afternoon
Listening to elementary students sing praises to God
Getting mail
A good cup of chi
...
