Mada, Mahajanga and More believers
Graeme and Eli MALLETT report exciting news from Mahajanga as a result of working with Pastors for the last
couple of years to develop T4T discipleship curriculum.
Graeme and Eli gives the following report. "Pastor Guillaume has been using the T4T discipleship curriculum
that we developed together and has seen God move through it. He reports
that as a result, there are 25 new Sakalava believers in Bako (where
Pastor Guillaume planted a church a few years ago, but there had been
no growth until November 2016), and 17 new believers in a neighbouring
village. You may remember that I (Graeme) visited these 2 villages by
sail boat. It has always been our vision to equip others and it is
encouraging to see Pastor Guillaume who is a gifted church planter reaping
fruit in this way.
This is not a church planting movement, no churches have been planted but Pastor Guillaume says the churches and these villages are now teaching using the same T 4T materials that they developed, so the next stage would be to hear that they have begun to plant new churches of their own. Please pray for Pastor Guillaume, that God would equip him for the task and that these new believers would grow in their faith and share it.
There were also 15 new Sakalava believers in a neighbourhood close to Mahajanga as well as 15 in another village out in the bush. In addition, another Pastor who was not involved in developing the curriculum has been using it has been 9 new believers. Pastor Guillaume says all of these new believers are Sakalava people. It seems God is on the move amongst this unreached people group."
