Time

I think I figured it out.  I have really had trouble, the past several weeks, with time.  I keep planning too much for my classes, and even though I have an hour or so between classes I always feel rushed and behind.  This past week I finally made sense of it.

The last year I didn't really have a schedule.  We would eat around the same time everyday, but other than that I used the rest of the day however.  I had tasks for the day, like working on language, reading curriculum, spending time in the community, or praying with my leaders, but there was no set time for these activities.  The only thing that was set were the different Bible studies a few times a week.  These usually lasted 2 hours and the start time was somewhat casual.

So, when I think about this, it's no wonder that I'm use to having more time for classes - we had 2 hours in Mada.  Then, it totally makes sense that I'm not use to time frames, I'm use to having all day to get things done.  Only having an hour is so different.

While in Mada I wished I had more to do and more of a routine.  When I first got to RVA it was nice to have a full day of working on curriculum and school work.  I was looking forward to the routine of the school week. It's funny that I would have so much trouble with a schedule after a year of not having one.

I'm not sure if this info solves anything, but it makes me feel a better knowing.
