15 First in Africa

I started to realize there are things I had never done until coming to “Africa.”  As several thing floated around in my head I knew it was time to make a list.  I love lists, after all.  So here it goes...

1.       Send mail out of the country

2.       Swim in the Indian Ocean

3.       Live without a toilet in the house

4.       Filter my water

5.       Eat a fresh mango

6.       Communicate in a different language

7.       Take a bucket shower

8.       Make crepes without an oven

9.       Eat lunch with a prostitute

10.   Use a long drop

11.   Eat goose

12.   Drink fresh passion fruit juice

13.   Barter for items at a market

14.   Sleep under a mosquito net

15. Wash all my clothes by hand
