Last few things before I leave

Connecting Through Sight:

Pray that it works out for me to meet up with two friends in Tana, whom I met on my last journey to Madagascar, during the 48 hours we will spend in the capital city before traveling the 20 hours to what will be our home in Toliara.  It would mean a lot to me to get to see them again and spend time sharing our hearts together.

Everything in Order:

Pray that our paperwork will be in order so that we can depart from the capital city of Tana on Saturday, August 8

Everybody Say Cheese:

Pray for eyes to see God's work and to be a part of it.  My fear is that I will get in a rut of language learning and a daily routine and forget to search out God's plan.

These Feet Were Made for Walking:

Pray that God will send me to just the right friends and to those searching for truth whom He desires to bring to Himself.

Music to My Ears:

Pray that I will have an ear for the language and come up with fun lessons so that I will not be tired of learning - especially after working hard on my pre-language class this past month.

At the End of the Day:

Pray that I will be a good observer so that I may not offend others in my actions or deeds. Similarly, pray that my hosts, a mom and daughter, and I will form a good bond as I live in their home over the next few years.  Pray especially for my first migraine, that my hosts will be understanding of my need for rest and that we can get past this hurdle well.

The Far Side of the Sea:

A friend of mine gave me this wonderful necklace as a reminder of the living water I have to share and the ocean God has me to cross.  She reminded me of Psalm 139:9-10  Thankfully, I have a God who has gone before me; I am not headed into a new place, my God has prepared His good work there and He is waiting to be with me there as well.
