Parade - American Style

A few months ago I came across pictures from a Malagasy parade in the town for where I am headed. As I mentioned, I love parades, so I can't help posting a few of the fun items I saw at the Glen Ellyn 4th of July parade this weekend.

What fun we had cheering on everyone as they crossed our paths

and eating candy.  Note to self, only one set of sweet tarts during a parade,

otherwise my stomach hurts.
