Building
Building can take many forms.
Noah built an ark because God told him to.
Nehemiah left his job working for the King to go and built a wall for God - it's pretty cool that he brought all of the people with him and they worked together to built.
Jesus talks about building your house on a solid rock - which is Him.
I totally resonate with Paul's passion in Roman 15:20 when he says, "it has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not know, so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation." If you read the rest of the passage Paul explains that he can't go back and visit some of his friends at this time because of this vision he has. I still have a lot to learn in building the church, but I appreciate Paul's desire, because it is mine as well.
In the end, I pray as Paul did in I Corinthians 3:9, "for we are fellow workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building." I desire to bring more into this verse with us. So...
