Planting: Part 2

I just got an African Violet as a teacher gift.  They are great for indoors.  I have been told you're not suppose to water the leaves or they will shrivel, now I know.  My new Cilantro plant was featured in Grow! Grow! Grow!  Since I am new to growing my own plants in-doors I thought I would share with you what I've learned.

Step 1:  Each plant comes with it's own instructions.  So, that makes it easy since they are all a little different.

Step 2:  Every plant needs water, most daily.  An easy way to tell how much to water is by keeping the soil moist; as long as you do that you're good.

Step 3:  Sunlight is a must.  How much is up to the plant, some can survive on partial sun while others need full sun.

In the end, plants are pretty resilient, you never know where they will grow and survive.  I found these on a walk near my house.  So cool.

Do you have any more tips?  I would love to hear about your in-home plants.
