Little Black Dress

I actually got this dress while thrifting with Bethany Parrish in Appleton, WI.  I knew it would be perfect for our Classical School: Summus Vespers, but I had to take it in.  For those of you who aren't familiar with Classical education (as I wasn't) not only do we focus on the History of the World, but the students learn Latin.  Summus Vespers is our end of year program.  Since school is about to conclude I had to get my dress ready.

Dress & Shoes: Thrifed.  Necklace and Bracelets: Vintage
(The necklace was actually my grandmother's).  Clutch: Made by me.

Step 1:  Take in the sides all the way from the sleeves down.

Step 2:  Cut off the extra bulk.

  1. I love how it turned out, Bethany! You look beautiful in it. Not bad for $5, right? :)
