Food, Faces and Faith

A few of my RVA friends are traveling this Vac. A bunch of different families are headed to Egypt and a few others are going to Morocco.  As I have chatted with them about their trips it has peaked my interested in these places and sent me check out the architecture and beauty photographed and shared online.  One of my friends is a foodie and has shared about her excitement to eat Egyptian food so, I found a BBC show entitled "A Cook Abroad" that follows a chief from one country as s/he visit another country to taste their food.  The first episode was in Egypt.  It was so much fun to see a bit of what my friends will see on their journey.  But, as often happens, I couldn't ignore the Spiritual side of the people and my heart is saddened knowing their destiny.

I can't help but think about the big picture.  Please join me in praying for those who don't already know Him and for those who are working to share the truth.
